This is how Projects are done.

Week 1: Introduction, Group Division, and Ideation

  • Week 1

Overview: Kick off the microprojects journey with an engaging introduction session. Teams will be formed and guided through brainstorming activities to generate innovative ideas.

Activities:

Welcome and program overview

-Group division based on interests and skills

- Ideation workshops and brainstorming sessions-Initial idea pitches and feedback

WEEK 2

Week 2: Abstract Submission/Idea Presentation and Costing

  • WEEK 2

Overview: Teams refine their ideas and prepare to present them formally. Focus on defining project scope, objectives, and initial costing.

Activities:

-Detailed idea   development

-Abstract submission

-Idea presentations to mentors and peers

-Cost analysis and budget planning

Week 3: Prototype Workout/Components Verification

  • WEEK 3

Overview: Begin the hands-on phase with initial prototype development. Verify the availability and functionality of required components.

Activities:

-Prototype design and planning

-Procurement and verification of components

-Initial prototype development

Regular mentor check-ins for guidance

 

WEEK 3
WEEK 4

Week 4: Prototype Workout and Progress Evaluation-1

  • WEEK 4

Overview: Continue developing the prototype and evaluate progress against initial plans.

Activities:

-Ongoing prototype development

-Mid-point progress evaluation

-Troubleshooting and problem-solving sessions

-Feedback from mentors on progress and challenges

Week 5: Final Prototype Workout and Evaluation

  • WEEK 5

Overview: Complete the final phase of prototype development and prepare for comprehensive evaluation.

Activities:

-Final adjustments and enhancements to the prototype

-Rigorous testing and validation

-Final evaluation by mentors and peers

-Iterative improvements based on feedback

WEEK 5
WEEK 6

Week 6: Yukthi Submissions / Report Drafting

  • WEEK 6

Overview: Focus on documenting the project through detailed report drafting and submitting to Yukthi, our internal evaluation platform.

Activities:

-Detailed report drafting covering all aspects of the project

-Submission of reports to Yukthi

-Mentor reviews and revisions

-Preparation for final presentations

Week 7: PPT and Poster Presentation

  • WEEK 7

Overview: Develop and refine presentations to effectively communicate project outcomes. Create compelling posters and PowerPoint presentations.

Activities:

-Design and creation of PowerPoint presentations

-Poster design and development

-Presentation practice sessions

-Mentor feedback on presentation quality

WEEK 7
WEEK 8

Week 8: Final Presentation / Report Submission / Prototype Submission

  • WEEK 8

Overview: Conclude the microprojects journey with final presentations, submission of comprehensive reports, and handover of completed prototypes.

Activities:

-Final project presentations to an audience of mentors, peers, and stakeholders

-Submission of final reports

-Handover of fully developed prototypes

-Celebration of achievements and reflections on the journey
